The time in the FarmForesight simulation session is divided into conditional weeks of 4 weeks per month, the full annual cycle consists of 48 weeks.
Only the session creator can manage the start and end time of the session.
By default, the session start is set to the beginning of the week following the current real date or the beginning of the next year if the current real month is September-December (incl.).
By default, the end of the session is set to the end of the year following the current real date, so that the simulation includes at least one full calendar year.
Please note that for statistics, at least one full calendar year must be fully played.
To change the start time of the session, click on the simulation start date and change the week, month, and year of the session start, the session end date is automatically adjusted to accommodate at least one full calendar year.
To change the end time of the session, click on the simulation end date and change the week, month and year of the end of the session.
Also, the session creator can add and remove the last full calendar year in a session with one click.
Why can't I set the session start time to September-December?
Given the specifics of the simulation, you will have nothing to do in the remaining months of the year, as you will miss all significant events including harvest of almost all crops.
Therefore, for the first year, we have limited the start time to August at most, in order to leave a sufficient number of possible actions until the end of the year.
