We had an event where two companies from same location took part. In real life they are in same conditions, having neighboring fields, procuring supplies from same source, sell for same prices… But result of one company is usually twice the result of another.
It was a challenge for us to check if the simulation will recreate the same effect, when teams play having same weather, prices and other conditions.
And it did! The simulation has shown that one company has got the two times better result than another! We have analyzed all the factors involved and found out that the weaker team that used to have lower results in real life, did a lot of mistakes in simulation.
