If at the time of the operation you do not have the appropriate type of fertilizer seeds or plant protection products in the warehouse, it will be purchased at the current market price.
There is information visible on each screen in the right sidebar about the state of the warehouse for fertilizer seeds and plant protection products. Opposite each planned crop, you see red or green dots that symbolize the shortage or sufficient number of a particular type of inventory and materials for the planned crop operations. If special offers for the purchase of certain types of goods and services are available in the current week, this is marked with the percentage icon on the sidebar.
Using special offers for the purchase of seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products, as well as simply buying them in advance before technical operations, you save on costs from 1.5% to 20%.
In order to buy seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products in advance, go to the purchase screen through the drop-down menu on the left side of the screen or by clicking on the zone on the right sidebar, which is responsible for indicating whether you have enough seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products.
On the right side of the purchase screen there is a field for special offers. They appear randomly in the months when you have the least number of crop operations and suppliers of seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products offer favorable conditions. On each special offer you will find information about what type of seeds, fertilizers or plant protection products for which crop and with what discount is offered. The set of special offers is updated in the simulation every week. In order to take advantage of the special offer - just click on it, if you have enough money in the account to buy it - this type of seed, fertilizer or plant protection product will be purchased at the corresponding discount.
The panel on the left of the purchase screen displays your current state of the seed, fertilizer and plant protection products for all crops. In order to buy seeds, fertilizers or plant protection products in advance - click on the plus at the intersection of the crop and the column of seeds, fertilizers or plant protection plants. In the window that opens, the amount of commodities and materials proposed for purchase corresponds to the default amount of costs for this type of commodities and materials planned at the crop rotation stage for this crop, averaged for all fields minus the costs already entered into the fields, that is, in fact, what you still have to all fields of this culture until the end of the season.
If you purchased seeds, fertilizers or plant protection products and for some reason did not use all of them, the remaining balances can be used in the following seasons, and if you have some quantity of commodities and materials in stock at the end of the session, they will be considered in your capitalization at the current market price with a small reduction factor.
