When you have a harvested crop in your finished goods warehouse, you can sell it at current spot prices.

At any time, you can find out the level of current spot prices and the state of your warehouse in the right sidebar, visible on almost any of the simulation screens.

Current crop spot prices change every week depending on the selected or generated price scenario. If the price has increased compared to the value of the previous week, there will be a green up arrow next to the price; if the price has decreased compared to the value of the previous week, the red arrow will be down.

In order to sell the culture at the current spot price, go to the sale window by selecting a window from the drop-down list or by clicking on any spot price in the right sidebar. In the crop line, click on “sell”, note that the button is inactive if you have no stored harvested in your warehouse.

In the sale window that opens, select the crop sales volume. The slider for selecting the sales volume is marked in color, the green zone is what you can freely sell, the red zone is reserved for contracts (forwards or options). You can choose the sales volume ignoring the reserve clue if, for example, you expect to buy the crop you need from other players or simply refuse to perform the forward (option).

At the bottom of the sales window is a graph of historical change in spot prices for crops over the past year.
